The Social Service is a place of meeting and contact between citizen and public administration that interact with each other for the resolution of problems of various kinds.

Through mutual listening, in a general panorama of sharing of the themes expressed, it is brought to the attention of the citizen, also the possibility of taking advantage of services and services, offered by the public administration, for the necessary time.

For particularly complex situations, paths can be activated with customized projects, agreed by both parties, according to the principles of freedom, respect, mutual commitment and self-determination, in order to activate paths of growth and personal improvement, in the awareness and reactivation of resources and individual skills: mentoring will be included among these courses, through a collaboration with the Italian Mentoring School.

On November 4, at the headquarters of the Social Services of the Municipality of Prato, Leonardo Piva presented the output of VM PRO project, to a selected group of Social Workers, of all areas of the Service, who are deciding to adopt mentoring as a main strategy for young people with disabilities
