“Belgium must do more to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities.”

The UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is concerned about the lack of opportunities for inclusive education in Belgium, the long waiting lists for support and a lack of accessibility. This is stated in the conclusions on Belgium issued by the UN Committee on 3 October, according to the civil rights organisation GRIP. The organisation asks Belgium to work with the recommendations of the UN and to include a global plan for inclusion in the policy documents 2014-2019.
