Employment rate for persons suffering from disability, disorder or disease (20-64 years)
In 2017, 587 123 people aged between 20 and 64 living in the Flemish Region experienced annoyance due to a disability, disorder or illness at work or abroad. This group finds it very difficult to connect with the labor market and is therefore part of the Flemish Target Group policy (starting on 1 July 2016), which aims to increase employment by reducing employers’ contributions.
